Message of President

Istanbul Chamber of Certified Public Accountants (ISMMMO) was established on March 20, 1990 with the authority granted by the 3568 numbered Law on Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Accountants at 01.06.1989. İSMMMO which is one of Turkiye's youngest professional organizations, has been active for about twenty eight years with its dynamic structure.

Continuous training is also supported via professional journals. Bimonthly “Journal of Financial Solution” (Mali Çözüm Dergisi) is searchable in national and international databases (ULAKBIM Sosyal Bilimler and EBSCOHOST Business Source Complete) with articles (peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed) that connect scholars, institutions, managerial decision makers and members of the profession. Bimonthly “ISMMMO Life Journal” (ISMMM Yaşam Dergisi) reaches to its readers with colored visuals, representing the social side of our chamber whose members also have social and cultural activities apart from their professional life.

For a young professional organization, the productivity and value share are significant. To illustrate the examples; Uniform Chart of Accounts, Inflation Accounting applications, IFRS, Independent Audit, Fraud Audit, Subject Matter Expertise and Conciliation Trainings and current legislation trainings are provided. It also hosts international certification programs (ACCA, etc.).

Istanbul Chamber of Certified Public Accountants (ISMMMO) Career Center helps its members to achieve their goals. By using technology and mobile applications, the communication becomes easier and more effective.

ISMMMO members and business institutions benefit by using the web-based LUCA accounting software program thanks to its convenience and alternatively low cost.

ISMMMO Committees and working committees act in accordance with the social and environmental benefits of social responsibility projects and contribute to our Chamber and TURMOB administrations while continuing their own activities related to their fields. Professional and personal improvement projects aim to shape the future in the best way. For the benefit of society, ISMMMO is committed to aiming at economic development, giving importance to inter-agency cooperation, and being a transparent and auditable corporate structure and will continue to exist with this mission.
